Corte la Volta is an holiday farm organized as B&B and placed in the district of Piacenza, along the Francigena route. You can easily reach it in 10 minutes from the city centre and in 5 minutes from the University, from the logistical and exhibition centre and from the highway. It develops itself in an ancient farm among the absolute silence of nature. It is family-run managed, characterized by the sharing of the homegrown vegetables and the orchard products. What is more we offer you a wide range of local specialities that include Parmesan cheese and ham.

The city, as well as the countryside, offers a strong tradition of food and wine. Piacenza is the only one in Italy with 3 DOP (protected designation of origin), whose tradition includes tasty salumi (cure meats) and intense main courses. Everything is accompanied by delicious and rinomate wine types like Ortrugo and Gutturnio.
THE HOLIDAY FARM
Along a white-stones street among the trees you get access to the holiday farm in a blend of green and delicate flavors. The ancient court is perfectly kept with modern materials but at the same time conserves the traditional aspect, keeping on the surface the original bricks, symbol of the old architecture. The holiday farm is placed in the middle of the property and it is surrounded by cultivated fields, far from other buildings, for the purpose of enjoying a calm and relaxing sojourn. The birds’ tweet might let you forget about the short distance between the farm and the city and the other business centres.
WHAT WE OFFER YOU
Corte la Volta consists of seven double rooms, with different characteristics, with a wonderful view onto the hundred-year-old garden or the ancient court. Each room has comfortables toilets, air-conditioning, TV and Wi-Fi.
An apartment with an equipped kitchen is available and can accommodate up to 6 people.
Our priority is the cleanness and the respect of your privacy. We always look for the best solution for you to spend a nice and relaxing stay starting with a good sweet or savory breakfast, that can be consumed in the comfort of the rooms as well as in the quietness of the outer spaces. At sunset you can admire from the farm the decline of the sun over the city, which is reachable in a matter of minutes. The holiday farm is also provided with bicycles for the ones who want to discover the area in their own good time. In the farmhouse there is a wallbox for charging electric cars.
